PROJECT TITLE :

Design of Efficient BCD Adders in Quantum Dot Cellular Automata - 2016

ABSTRACT:

Among the rising technologies recently proposed as alternatives to the classic CMOS, Quantum-dot cellular automata (QCA) is one in every of the most promising solutions to style ultra low-power and very high speed digital circuits. Economical QCA-based implementations are demonstrated for many binary and decimal arithmetic circuits, but important improvements are still doable if the logic gates inherently available among the QCA technology are smartly exploited. This temporary proposes a brand new approach to design QCA-primarily based BCD adders. Exploiting innovative logic formulations and purposedesigned QCA modules, computational speed significantly over existing counterparts are achieved without sacrificing either the occupied area or the cells count.
